PEACE
We are grateful to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, through their Multiculturalism program, for funding this project! Project PEACE unites youth from diverse backgrounds and neighbourhoods and empowers them to be leaders of diversity and peace through self-exploration.
Through components such as “Peace Tree Spirit”, “Arts.For.Equity” and ”Change Through Equity”, the project allows youth to use and create art, inspiring them to utilize their talent and share their experiences, exchanging various aspects of their cultures and faiths through diverse art forms. The youth learn about identity, stereotypes, racism, power, privilege and leadership, inspiring them to develop their own solutions for change. Click on each component to learn more about them!
