How to Apply for a Scholarship
Applicants must be full-time students, under 21 years of age, and graduating from their final year at a Canadian high school or CEGEP (in Quebec). All applicants must provide proven admittance at a post-secondary institution for the fall of the year of application.
Scholarships may not be deferred to another term or school year.
Applicants must agree to be publicly acknowledged and if awarded the scholarship, must provide a photo and brief biography.
Members of the Board of Directors or staff of the Harmony Movement and their immediate family members are not eligible for the scholarship.
Submission Requirements
Submissions, as outlined below, must be mailed, faxed, or sent by courier to Harmony Movement by July 31, or postmarked for July 31. Incomplete submissions or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
Include only the following documents as your submission:
- Completed and signed application form
- Application Essay
- Two Reference Letters
- Proof of acceptance to the post-secondary institution that you plan to attend (please provide a photocopy)
Scholarship applications are judged according to the candidate’s length of service, the scope of their activity, their leadership qualities, and their role in advocating for diversity. Please ensure that the supporting letters for all the forms address these criteria.

The final decision rests with the Board of Directors of the Harmony Movement. Only applicants who have been selected to receive the scholarship will be notified.
