We want to hear from youth.
What happens when hate shows up at school? What do adults get right? What do they get wrong? What makes students feel safe speaking up—and what makes them stay quiet?
As part of Safe Schools Against Hate, Harmony Movement is bringing together youth from across Canada for a virtual conversation about hate, discrimination, safety and belonging in schools.
We don’t want to talk about students without talking to students.

Safe Schools Against Hate is led by Harmony Movement and has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.
This isn’t a presentation. It’s a conversation.
We want to hear what you think.
What are students actually seeing and experiencing? How does hate show up in classrooms, hallways, group chats and social media? What happens when someone reports it? What makes a response helpful — or makes things worse?
And what do you wish the adults making decisions about schools understood?
There are no right answers. You don’t need to be an expert or prepare anything.
Come ready to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
What we hear from youth will help shape a national report and online resource hub for Canadian schools, alongside conversations with educators, principals and school board leaders.
Your voice matters. And there’s a thank-you. 🎉
As a thank you for giving us your time, youth who participate in the roundtable will be entered into a draw to win gift cards.
