Are you an Indigenous youth (15-25) interested in writing?
Come learn and get published with us!
This is a unique opportunity for Indigenous youth (ages 15-25) from the Greater Tkaronto Area to participate in a creative journey where your stories and artistic expressions will be developed, shared, and published. Whether you have prior experience or you are just starting out, everyone is welcome!
The program includes four virtual writing sessions on spoken word/poetry, biography, short stories and more, to help support you in developing your own piece.
Sessions will take place for one-hour on Sundays in February from 1:00 – 2:00 pm PST, 4:00 – 5:00 pm EST, 5:00 – 6:00 pm AST.
Once you have created and submitted your writing piece, you will receive a cash honorarium and have the opportunity to have your work published, helping to honour, respect, and celebrate Indigenous cultures across Canada.
