Behdahbuhn Publishing Co. invites Indigenous youth from across Canada to submit their writing or artwork to be featured in the upcoming anthology, Youth Indigenous Voices, launching in fall 2025.

This collection will spotlight the unique perspectives, stories, and connections to the land shared by Indigenous youth. Whether through words, visual art, or other creative forms, we want to hear your voice, your vision, and your relationship to the land that shapes who you are.

✨ Who can submit?

  • Indigenous youth (ages up to 29) living anywhere in Canada

  • All nations, languages, and cultural backgrounds welcome

✨ What can you submit?

  • Poetry, short stories, essays, reflections

  • Visual art, photography, mixed media, digital art

  • Other creative works that reflect your identity, culture, and land connection

✨ What’s the theme?
We invite you to explore:

  • Your personal connection to the land

  • What it means to you to carry your culture, history, and traditions

  • Your dreams, challenges, and stories as an Indigenous youth

✨ How to submit?

  • Use the submission form below to upload your file(s)

  • Make sure to include your name, age, nation/community, and a short artist or author bio (1–3 sentences)

Submissions are open until July 30, 2025.
